Hotspur Primary School

Two football matches took place this week! The game on Wednesday was the second round of the cup against Gosforth Central. The team competed for the majority of the game but came away with a defeat. Nevertheless the teams attitude and effort was fantastic during the game. A friendly match was played on Thursday evening against our friends at Ravenswood. Hotspur showed great character throughout the game playing some great football from the first to the final whistle. Last week it was FA Girls Football Week and 10 of our girls took part in a football festival at St Johns Primary School. The girls took part in some warm up activities run by Newcastle United Foundation, then competed in a tournament where they played a total of 4 games. They won 3 and drew 1 of the games which was a brilliant achievement and the girls should be proud of themselves. Well done to all teams!
