Tyne and Wear Finals result
Congratulations to our Year 6 Netball team who finished 2nd at the Tyne and Wear Netball Finals at the Beacon of Light. This was an outstanding achievement from all the children involved!
Hotspur was placed in Group 2 that had 7 other finalists. The children performed extremely well throughout the group stages, winning 6 games and drawing 1. This resulted in Hotspur winning Group 2 which meant they would compete in the final against Group 1 winners, Stanhope.
An excellent competitive final, played in the correct spirit saw Hotspur unfortunately lose the game 5-4. Nevertheless, a remarkable achievement to become the second best team in the whole of Tyne and Wear, which has made everyone at Hotspur immensely proud!
