Geography
Welcome to our geography curriculum page, at Hotspur we aim to use our fantastic grounds and local area to ignite our children's passion for geography and give them the opportunity to explore their local environment through fieldwork. The children will broaden their understanding of locations and places across the world as well as developing their understanding of human and physical geography. Through their journey across the geography curriculum our children will also explore global issues such as the environment and sustainability helping them to become critical thinking, world citizens.
We also have a dedicated Eco Warriors team made up of children from across the school who help to maintain our local environment.
GREEN DAY
Every year we celebrate Green Day, a day dedicated to preserving and celebrating our environment.. Last year we explored 'How Green is our Community?' and each year group used their fieldwork skills to explore a different aspect of the school environment.
