We are pleased to announce that Kevin McVittie has been appointed as Deputy Head and will take up the post in September.

Kevin is currently an Assistant Headteacher at West Jesmond Primary School. He currently teaches in Y6 having taught throughout KS1 and KS2. He is in charge of maths at West Jesmond and is an SLE (Specialist Leader of Education). He is also training to be a maths mastery hub leader. Before his post at West Jesmond Kevin taught in Gateshead. He has also been a professional Irish dancer.
