CHAMPIONS!!

On the 14th of February, our year 4 hockey team became Newcastle champions by finishing above 9 other schools in the Newcastle finals.

After qualifying through the preliminary round earlier in the year, the year 4 hockey team came up against the other best teams in Newcastle. From the 9 games played, our team won 7, drew 1 and lost 1. This put Hotspur top of the table in the final standings, crowning us champions of Newcastle. As well as our new trophy, our team earned a spot in the Tyne and Wear finals and a chance to represent Newcastle.
